Votiv, an entertainment company with a film focus needed an identity. We were happy to oblige. Our motion like the logo mark is inspired from the behaviors and movement of light through a lens.
After digging into their new brand package, and after multiple interviews with the client and the branding agency we developed a body of Bokeh type effects which would act as our armature. The gag of multiple elements coming together to create the logo proved to be a bit challenging as while the art as a still embodies the concept of light compounding to create different colors, the exact line up isn’t recreated in the real world. It took some fudging and some slight of hand but we were able to get from the printed concept to a real world look, while maintaining an authentic, in camera look and feel.
