Virginia Mason

BE REMARKABLE

A quirky, upbeat and fun approach to a typically mundane story, Virginia Mason was excited about the unique spin on their story. A multi-day shoot ranging from building a set on the Seattle Sounders FC practice field to actual operating rooms to stop motion of our talent losing their hair (and eyebrows!), this was one to remember!.

The Process

The New Blank and Wexley School for Girls partnered in an unconventional project utilizing unconventional production methods shot over 3 days with over 6 different locations. We created a Virginia Mason doctor’s exam room on the Seattle Sounders FC practice field, recreated the post-chemo recovery process and shot a surgeon in boxing gloves. This was all mixed in with some minor VFX/green screen work and a cool CGI cancer cell being eaten up by super-charged T-cells.
