The Process

We developed a look and feel that could wrangle the various shots and film types together. Our graphical “user interface” armature provides an interesting visual solution for on-screen text as well as a way to visually aid the story where the footage alone needed help as well as injecting some of that Verizon red. After sourcing our footage and discovering what sections in the script were going to need that help, we developed animations that could specifically aid those sections. Sound design and score and a fantastic edit all pull their weight on this Enterprise Explainer for Verizon.

By starting with stock footage we were able to apply their budget in ways to create a high production value video without breaking the bank. Rather than spending budget on talent and locations we focused on storytelling and polish. MRM was happy to collaborate on creative ways to stretch their dollar. One challenge with utilizing stock footage is the multiple sources of the imagery as well as the varied lighting and shooting techniques. Sometimes that may be desired but when its not, we have developed a slew of techniques that can help minimize those differences ranging from color correction to more in depth VFX color work and lens and lighting simulations we will run the footage through to tie it all together.
