Part of the challenge of this project was working big within a tight budget. We devised a strategy that involved minimizing our live action production but augmenting it through set extensions in 3D. We developed a series of illustrations that were then sent to 3D as well as our production team to turn into life size set pieces for our shoot with Gloria Estefan. Then we brought the plates back and augmented the tool kit with the additional shots produced in 3D. This set extension provided all the typographical elements and IDs for the package. We then built a full host of templates the network in-house team could use to quickly create all the various promos for the PBS Arts Fall Festival.
