Upfronts Key Art
Designing 35 shows in 3 weeks. Holy shit the Upfronts are a sprint! We were given a list of show descriptions and working titles and tasked with developing logos and key art. Sometimes the show title changes, sometimes the show itself evolves. It’s a branding exercise with a whole lotta moving targets, the one exception being the deadline.

The Process
Every year we know they are coming, they are always at the same time yet, the door flings open and in they slide in like Kramer on a greased floor. The networks have hundreds of shows in various stages of development that need identities to help sell them through. From as little as a single line or paragraph describing each show, we develop hundreds of look frames, and this year we put them all to music.
