SUMMER FUN & GAMES BRANDING
ABC tapped The New Blank to develop the branding for their Summer Fun and Games programming block promos. An upbeat and graphically driven package designed to work with the new ABC brand vernacular while creating a stand-alone look and feel. We think it is pretty damn fun— and NO WHAMMIES!!!.

The Process
ABC was pushing this segment of programming to go beyond the game shows of daytime television years past, creating a comedic and fun package of entertainment for the summer. We packaged it with a fun multicolored graphic look inspired by the circles found in their current network brand package.
Every show logo was refined to belong to the package while retaining essential brand identities. We also developed a series of icons for all the shows to exist as stand-alone identities or to live within the circles in the end card.

We developed several different looks that we felt hit the various marks we were aiming for. Each approached the general strategy in different ways and embodied the voice uniquely.
