The Process
After poring over years of Billboard magazine cover layouts for inspiration, we landed on the idea of coupling a look similar to the print magazine with an energetic graphic animation to create a unique broadcast package. We built a template file that would dynamically adjust to match whatever celebrity source file photography the in house team dropped in and customizable typographical layouts. When all was said and done, the 2015 Billboard Music Awards came together in a way that would have made William Donaldson proud.
